This is very preliminary, and also unlikely. However, inspiration or creativity hits from time to time, and I try to scribble down thoughts.
This is about each player, likely 10 per game, being a god in a game. The player creates his diety, with some level of power in 10 of 20 portfolio possibilities, say 100 points total. Some of that might be Charm, to among other things, attract a mate and so procreate. The mate and offspring might have skill in 5 portfolio categories. Then a god might also have demi-god offspring.
A god might also create either an Angel or a Demon in a turn (not both).
Aspects like loyalty, glory, heroism, mysticism, understanding, civilization, insights, tactician might be important qualities in your mortals.
Wealth, might, wonder, mores, music, architecture, warcraft might be portfolio skills. It might be your people want to be happy, rather than conquerors. Oratory, language skill, artifacts, beasts, monsters, weather, vision, prophecy might be factors.
This might be a 10 player game on Resurgent, where the players have to create the realms as well as their leaders and important subjects. Perhaps at the beginning of a game, there are only Red Dragons, Dwarves and Elves. Gaining control of those involves compatibility with portfolio power, and other races can be created. So some orders, like creating a race of say, Dark Elves, may take an entire turn's influence and power. Others, like siring a demigod hero might consume some, allowing an architecture or tactical breakthrough might take less.
Subjects might become disloyal, prophets would be important to spread the word, the god's Vision might be critical as well to Inspiration.
Merry Christmas, All.
