Portland, OR - highest number of strip clubs per capita than any other of the 50 largest US cities, at least it was recently. I know that Tampa is close. I'm not exactly an expert in the field, but I've lived in FL and TX and I seem to recall that neither state is all nude or at least not all-nude if alcohol is served. Oregon's constitution provides much more vigorous freedom of speech protections than most which effectively prevents local municipalities from preventing adult establishments in any commercial zone and makes all-nude the standard everywhere. I'd say that makes up the difference even if some other place has snaked the per-capita crown.

(edit) Found numbers from 2013 - Portland had a strip club for every 9,578 residents and Tampa had one for every 10,813. Like I said, not my field but I have a friend who does some lobbying work for the Dancers' Union, so I suppose I could ask for more up to date info.

Per capita is the criteria? (Although one for every 10k people, wow? There would be several in my own sub development!) In the army the food is awful, but you can have all you want.

Per capita is just a just a convenient quantitative measure. I'd actually guess the qualitative advantages with the zoning freedom and all-nude everywhere are more substantive. Depends on what you're after I suppose. Maybe TX is better if your thing is pasties and bikini bottoms. Another interesting wrinkle is that if you have a liquor license you have to serve food so every strip club basically has to serve food. Usually normal pub fare, but there's also curiosities like the place that has their own ranch and reportedly serves one of the best steaks in town and the all-vegan strip club (chain).

I always thought disallowing the combination of all nude and alcohol service was just cruel. Without both aspects it's really not that enticing a proposition.

It's been a while but in Houston the all nude places don't have a liquor license so they charge a ice chest fee and you bring in a ice chest full of beer. Lol nothing like being 21 with 3 buddies surrounded by nude girls and all the beer you want.
