Hello,
Just signed up for a mentor game.
I'm an old Atlantis and Atlantis-style (Lorenai, Overlord) game player and have been really wanting to find something similar in the last few months.
Really looking forward to giving this a run and meeting some new folks.
Should be two more of my old buddies coming along with me and appearing rather shortly.
I'm on the West Coast of the U.S. in No. California.
Anything else.... just drop me a line...

Welcome! How did you find us?
Lord Diamond
Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. Anyone who reads this post should feel completely free to ignore, disregard, scorn, implement, improve, dispute, or otherwise comment upon its content.

Last Wed. I was skyping with Prime and another gaming friend who was telling us he had to go back to playing Travian cause he couldn't find anything else. I said... "It is hard to understand why there isn't a game out there that we can and want to play." I started googling. I think the terms were, "Turn-based", "MMORPG" "2014" "Paid" and similar... I know "PBeM" wasn't in the search... I had given up hope on that a while ago... anyway... I don't know which site it was, but there was a list of ten games. Alamaze was the only one that seemed anywhere close to what I was looking for.
I should point out that my friends and I have only played Free PBeMs... but when I thought about what I spent on other games, AC, EVE, SW:KOTR, WOW and even games like Travian (which easily took $25/month from me) then I shouldn't mind paying for another format that I already know I enjoy. I am actually a little annoyed with myself for not coming to this realization sooner.
Anyway, that is how I found my way here.

Coll story. I am glad you found us. I am not one of the champions around here, but feel free to ping or email me at ded127@aol.com if I can help you with anything. Anything at all.
