Hello From A New (Old) Player
#1
Hi folks,

I look forward to my first game of Alamaze since the late 90s. My first game was in the early 90s, and I was a regular 2nd cycle player during the transition from snail mail to email.

I guess I'll have to start looking over the rules to see what's changed.

Welcome back! I suggest that you also spend a lot of time here in the forums. There is one aspect that may confuse you and that is that we are discussing two different engines. One is the 'Classic' engine that you are familiar with and the other is a Beta version and it is being administered by 'Unclemike'. Game 300, for example, is on the newer engine.

Please don't hesitate to ask for clarification. You can email me at ded127@aol.com and I will help you in any way that I can.

Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. Anyone who reads this post should feel completely free to ignore, disregard, scorn, implement, improve, dispute, or otherwise comment upon its content.

Read the commands online here as there are a lot of new orders not in the old Pegasus rulebook.
