For the record, I personally don't get upset about how people play the game. Do whatever you want, just don't be surprised if I do the same thing to you in another game. I don't carry grudges from game to game, but I do try to apply my learning experiences wherever appropriate.
If I don't join a gang bang against a kingdom (not player) it is because there are too few prizes to make it worth it, not because I made a moral judgment.
If I do join, it will be because that kingdom has something that my kingdom needs or that I want to keep from someone else.
I understand that other people feel differently than I do, and that's just fine.
For myself, I'm playing to win or at least podium. Everything I do has that end in mind. If I can't podium in this game, perhaps the relationship I build will help me podium in another.
I play for Valhalla!
