Alamaze Hunger Games

I was thinking of a new format and ran it by Ry Vor.  I would like to know if enough people are interested in a game like this?

This would be a game of 6 players each controlling two kingdoms in an anonymous format.  The goal is to be the last player standing by removing/Eliminating the other kingdoms from play.  This is intended to be an experienced player game so chivalry rules would not apply for signup.  Of course any player would be welcome to play.  We would likely get random draft positions and either draft kingdoms or put them in order of preference.
Although this seems not likely to finish with a true win.  I think once things start rolling it could become quite the blood bath and a winner will come out faster than one would expect.

The Rules:
- sanctuary - not allowed (can be player enforced unless UM already has a on/off feature)
- Winner is last player standing
- if no winner.  then winner is player with highest status point kingdom.  Still only one winner, no second place
- anonymous/exploration format
- would take two slots to play, but hopefully runs on the 446 schedule.
- winner gets recognized (totally up to Rick how this would work)

Kingdoms:  I pre-selected some kingdoms but am willing to go any route the players would like for kingdom selections.
BL RD UN  removed   Dragons can not attack water PCs,  UN just not a fighter.

Every team has potentially strong enough wizards to destroy towns.  Pure military is not matched up with pure mage.  likely strongest team is WA/RA but they start in shared regions, but have an empty region 10 under them.  DE/SO maybe weakest but they have some nice abilities and again the same R10 to make things interesting.
EL/AN
TR/GN
WI/DW
GI/DA
WA/RA
DE/SO

Please reply if interested in this format or with any suggestions.   if we get enough interest and a consensus on rules it can be moved to the signup thread.

I think I might be interested in such a Format if, but only if, we drafted kingdoms . . .

Would you be good with having RD BL UN removed or all kingdom if someone wants to accept the disadvantage it is there choice.

Sounds fun but my game card is full at the moment.

Is this a team game comprising of two kingdoms per team or an individual-based game that just controls two kingdoms? The victory conditions suggest an individual Steel game where only a single kingdom may win via Lion's Share (most points) but I'll need to know for sure in order to configure this type of game format.

The victory declaration orders should also disallowed so that no one may declare Rex, SVC, or Team victory via orders 995, 996, 997. I can make changes in the code to enforce some of the rules (like not allowing sanctuaries) but I'll need a new name for this game variant first.

The timing of me joining would depend on available slots, but I'd be interested in this game if it were one slot (for weekly turns) or two slots (for 3 turns/2 weeks). Either the set teams or a draft would work for me.

I am curious, however... why do you believe eliminations would happen more quickly in this game? Not sure I would necessarily agree.

I believe all kingdoms should be available when drafting.  It sucks to have only one choice and then you get whatever is left over.  Plus, I really like the idea of players having to determine which kingdom is absent based upon information on their turn results.

In current games, the enemy/ally chart categorically tells you on T0 what Kingdoms are in each game. I actually like this feature quite a bit, personally.

With that said, I have no problems with a draft, with all Kingdoms being available.
