Gahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!
One turn too late on our attack against those villains the DE, EL, RA!
Grats to all for a match well played and to the champions for a quick win (we certainly didn't expect the 2 regions flipped this past turn). Looking forward to the next contest.

Wow, this was one of the most fun games I have gotten to play.
Canticar and Damelon were excellent teammates with frequent communication and planning and cross-order-checking.
The RA and I decided to slow the BL down as that would help us later against that whole team, then we were able to let the RA take that region, giving our team 4 regions pretty early on. The UN did lots of damage to me, taking out approximately 11 emissaries/agents from me plus some from the RA.
So, we took our high-risk, high-reward strategy and went all out for the EL to take NM and my DE to take Runnimede on turn 16 (missed) and then again tried to finish it on turn 17 (and hit).
Barely worked and just in time, as both of my teammates were invaded strongly this turn and the future for us would have stunk.
Thanks to all for a good game and for playing it out, especially DuPont as we hurt the BL pretty early and then just kept picking on him, but he refused to give up and just kept fighting back. Sorry, DuPont, but the Black Dragon skins do look good in front of the fireplace.

Whew! That was close! As you all know by now, I just ducked a massive AN invasion in the nick of time.
My teammates are awesome! Thanks to RA and DE for all the tips.

I had the DA. Not a fan of the DA WA GN but tried to make the best of things.
Our plan was to try and take regions 5 and 7 and then put pressure on the AN.
We used the DA in R5 trying to avoid the issue of them being a target for the SO and DW in R6.
Our plans for the GN were messed up when the UN prince and BL army showed up at Cradia on turn 1.
That derailed our safest position and we never really were able to hang on to much as a team.
I was surprised the AN DW SO did not end up winning this game.
I think they became too focused on us when we really controlled very little.
I think the team design favors the AN SO DW and the DE RA EL. Both teams were leaders in the 2 versions of this that have been played.
I don't think the team split offers the balance we were looking for.

For the criteria asked for all the team speperated from each other. I still like the teams as a whole but agree GN team is likely the weakest and RA team strongest. we fully expected to get the GN team due to the feudal chivalry rules in place. But some how ended up with AN team. The GN team was gunning for AN team starting turn one so this left us no choice but to respond. Leaving the other two teams a choice fight each other or one of us. I think any of these teams if left realitively alone could win. But some are in a better position for that than others.
Also still much prefer to do the warlords style draft vs predetermined teams any time. A fair draft not some waited version of a draft.
