You train an agent for 9 turns to your level 12 max and then you send him on a sabotage mission and he dies.
There was no agent on counter either.
I have made this comment about agents before and it is something I really dislike about the game.
Can't there be something useful agents could do without a chance of death? At least at level 12?
That agent cost a bunch of orders and gold and and it is all wasted.
Just think if wizards died like that. Nobody would bother building them up either.

Same thing happened to me recently, Agent 12 croaking on an undefended steal gold mission.

I would guess it is unlikely an entire agent team is caught. perhaps something like levels of being caught. Reduce levels of the agent based on a number of members caught and needing to be replaced. I would think when caught by counter agent type order then the team would likely be caught and completely killed as they were actively looking for them not just an unlucky break.

I agree unless someone is using the agent against me. I hope those agents all die.

I'd actually be curious... the minimum "caught" percentage for a high-level agent according to the charts after comparing the Agent-4 and Agent-7 columns for various missions is 3% (except for recon which is 0%). Is that in fact the case, or is it lower?

I used a random dice generator. I rolled six d100 dice. Three of the six numbers that came up on one of the rolls was 05 or lower. What were the odds that would happen? It happened anyway. That is what I tell myself every time I feel like the odds are against me.

I'd definitely back this idea.
