Just a reminder to experienced players and new: you can just post here to get in the game.
Post your persona and just say "I'm in" in this anonymous format.

Since this is filling slowly, I suggest we make it 10 players with no dispersed. If someone has an objection to that, just post here.

The last anonymous setup was messed up. I had the UN as my choice and it was changed to a 10 player game when the error was corrected. I would prefer having a chance to play the UN in a 12 player game. If I don't win the choice, then will play what I draw. But with no chance at the UN at all, then I guess I'll withdraw from a 10 player anonymous.
Thanks

Man, I with this game would start. Even as a new player, I think that I prefer the anonymous format.

I was just reviewing who might have open slots at the moment and its not enough to fill a 12 player game without some players increasing their service level. We may not get 10. Some are holding back for summer vacation issues, etc.
So my new suggestion is we change the format such that we have a draft, with a player not in the game determining draft order randomly, and you can select any of the 24 kingdoms, but it might only be 7 or 8 players. The draft choices would be posted here so we don't have to have congested areas and other wide-open regions - you'd make your selection knowing how the map is shaping up. There would be no need for chivalry in this format. Its sort of like Primeval Major. So not Anonymous any more (where we don't know who has what kingdom), but Silent (no diplomacy, and diplomacy includes declaring allies but does not include declaring enemies). BTW, I don't get the reasoning behind having High Council issues be secret ballot, it seems transparency is served opposite, that they should all be open, not secret. No HC issues made to support a different kingdom, but you can vote yes on any issue. If I left something out, someone can fill in the blanks.
So, let's get feedback on this, and if agreeable, give everyone 24-48 hours to sign up or pull out, and then with a draft order posted, start selecting kingdoms in that order here on the forum. So check the forum as to where we are, so when there is a draft we don't have everyone waiting on one player to make his choice for a day. I don't want players waiting any longer in the queue.
So, if we wait for 12, it's going to be quite some time. But there are no restrictions here on what kingdom you can select. Let's get going.

The idea of all secret council issues is. Say someone makes an issue to raise influence. If you vote No they would see who is voting against them but say someone votes Yes it is almost like saying let's be buddies. In secret your issue does not pass. You do not know did one person vote no or everyone. Likely only you voted yes, unless someone likes that you are fighting someone and maybe wants to vote yes. There is plenty of communication that can take place with council issues.
If you were voting no then started voting yes you could be sending a signal. How is it perceived is another story.

I am agreeable to a lower player starting base. The availability of all 24 kingdoms is the best. Count me in.
