Just trying to make sure he is not stepping on any toes. For the record, I said it was fine by me. I do have a question. Does the removal of needing a specific leader-type to recruit include just the Companions or does it include the PCs too?

It came up on a phone call with John and he told me to Post Here to get a Consensus from All the Players, because even though he can do it and is willing to do it, he does not want to just do it for one Player, plus another Noob is in the same boat regarding scheduling due date after the Wednesday Night Discord Stream with John gives him insights, but not enough time to enter the Orders before the Thursday Morning Due Date

Quick question: I found in a lot of games there is talk of taxing and/or deserting a PC in other areas at the start of the game. Is this an unwritten courtesy-type thing? Or do folks usually fight it out?

Another option is trading pops with another kingdom. for example if you start in Triumvia but have a town in the water in the Crown Islands. Offer the Crown Islands player a trade with a town in the water in Triumvia. Instead of a enemy you can gain an ally or at least a secure border. R

This will get you a fight with most veterans of the game. Or try communications like posted above. Having total control of region boost status points and makes it harder to usurp with political emmies. Not impossible just more difficult in the early game. By T30 everyone has the max influence to take almost anything even in loyal regions, unless Emmy is status qoe’ing it. |
