Separately, I don't think it's fair to try to dissuade a player who has already been so fed up (for valid reasons, I'd wager) that he's been driven to quit, by implying he's leaving other players in the lurch, especially when the monthly fees are significant and the player has already paid a setup fee he's now losing.
The appropriate answer is the standby mechanism.
I get it now. Have they been assigning standby players to late games? The game I am concerned about is on turn 30!
In the past, the problem has been that those players with standby slots have usually also been in the game affected.

Any drop after end-of-T10 is already fair game per our standard conventions.

All are very sound positions, 174 can win in 3 turns. Good team members also.

For the record, I wasn't implying anything. I was saying it outright. If my guilt-trip means one more players doesn't ruin MY game, it's worth it to me.
Also for the record, I am trying to throw a little humor in there. It goes back to my 'don't feed the drama' comment earlier.

If your game is going to be ruined by a drop, you may want to find a different game, because even under the service level paradigm, drops happen regularly.
And sorry to be a humorless prig, but I haven't been in a very jolly mood lately when it comes to the specific topic of this game, and I know for a fact that I am not alone.

'Ruin' was a bit heavy. How about 'negatively impacted'?
Anyway, I'm going to stop feeding this one. I don't want to get so upset that I rage quit my games.

What was the drama in those games? From a programmer's perspective, is there anything that I can do to prevent such from happening? If you don't want to say publicly then send an email to Support.

I don't want to see you go, Zim. Please stay!
I do understand the need to take a step back, get a deep breath, and maybe come back at some time in the future.
Can you identify, at least in a general way, the source of your angst? Maybe we can find some method to alleviate your concern? Maybe a player can apologize? Who knows.
Anyhow, you will ALWAYS be welcomed back with open arms [I know from experience.]

Paul, I regret to hear that you are this fed up with our game. I still feel confident we can pull off a win. Can I have your log-in information so that we can finish out our team game? We are actually in first place even though we are going up against a team of 6 players? PM me or mail me. Either that or can support allow me to enter turns for my Magic teammate until this game ends?
