Team/Warlords House Rules
1) Ally declarations, trades, and gifts are only allowed between your own three Kingdoms. 2) Enemies can be freely declared, but you cannot later declare an enemy neutral. 3) No HC issues are allowed to help another player's Kingdoms. 4) All HC issues must be by SECRET ballot, and if a player accidentally proposes an open ballot issue, all players must abstain on that vote (i.e. it fails). 5) No drops before end-of-T20 (i.e. final orders issued on T17, before the three turn drop notice takes effect with a broadcast message at the end-of-T20). 6) Notify everyone as soon as you decide to drop, rather than allowing the computer to do it. 7) No sending messages to other players by using new emissary names. Draft Rules 1) Team captains send in preference lists as to whether they prefer picking order A, B, C, D. 2) First preferences without conflicts are assigned, and then conflicting preferences are randomized, with losers going down the remaining preference lists, repeated as necessary until everyone has a picking order. 3) Team A begins, and selects a Kingdom. With each successive pick, the next team captain is informed what Kingdoms have been taken up to that point, so informed selections and projections can be made. 4) At the end of the draft, all team captains are informed of the three Kingdoms that went unselected. 5) Team captains then assign specific Kingdoms to specific players on their team, and then the whole list is sent to Signup. The picking order is: A) 1st, 8th, 10th B) 2nd, 7th, 11th C) 3rd, 5th, 12th D) 4th, 6th, 9th

PS: As I won't be playing in this, I'm happy to run your draft if you get a full slate of players.

Could this game move up to the forming games area? Any others interested in playing?

Just wanted to freshen this up a bit. Magic (team) games are the favored format of many players.
While full diplomacy can be a bit taxing, and fully anonymous can feel lonely, in a Magic format you only communicate with your two teammates, but likely will enjoy planning your collective strategy. Try it, you'll like it!

This had a failure to launch (attract the players in a reasonable time), so this thread is closed.
Someone wishing to start a new thread for a team game is welcome to do so. |
