I'm referring to the fact that the Giant position has been completely eliminated as of the end of T3. All of his pop centers have already been turned human, and all of his assets have been deleted. So are you sure it's as simple as flipping a switch, so to speak, to put all of that back?
OOC: Rick, if you are indeed able to reset this GI position, the person to slot in as a standby is Thudargh, as the other people in front of him on the standby list are already in this game. Just let us know so we can start negotiating with him. Thanks!
EDIT: Just to be clear, I'm all in favor of a standby for GI, but considering the turn I just had, only if inserting him would NOT require a rerunning of the turn. I would have a huge, major, extreme problem with a rerun. Hopefully it won't be an issue, just letting my viewpoint be known in advance.
Hmm, so I gather someone has recon on one of the GI pc's and it shows Human. I just could look at the GI turn 3 where he still had his possessions. I thought maybe the conversion to dropped happened when no orders were received on T4. We might do that in the future to allow a chance to find a standby.
Meanwhile then, sorry, no manpower available to make the changes or a re-run of turn 3, so that's it for the Giants in this game.

OOC: Correct, that is the procedure that happens for drops, based on past experience. Thanks for confirming, and for the clarity!

OOC: He seems nice and all, and he likes fire just as I do. I have no quarrel with him but I don't mind taking a bunch of GI pop centers if they are sitting there (and a nice city).

OOC: there are no GI pc's left, those backward humans, in this land, came in and occupied them. As for the city, be nice...you already have 2. Let me teach them about the fun to be had with FIRE.
OOC: 3 Demon Princes in the kingdom, each of them likes to have their own city to hang around in. :-)

This turn, trading we do, yes? 8,000 or 12,000 gold, will it be?

Coming the priestesses are, I sense. Revealed, information will be. Any requests, do you have? But Gnomes, Elves, Dwarves, and you, protection you do have, or have soon.
UN-ALL
If commitments for protection you now make, information secret, it will remain. Next turn, the revealings begin.

Mysterious Yoda,
Our small council is still making budgetary projections. May I suggest that you enter a standing order to trade one food for at least 8,000 gold? And in the event we opt for the larger sum of 12,000 gold, that order would still allow you to receive it.
Best,
Grundun

Well, the people of Torvale have been pretty quite, maybe they wouldn't mind you having Meridon.
