Lol, oh HH- honestly, I really appreciate you telling me how things work. Especially my defensive pacts and what is in my interest. I'm sure everyone else in the game does too. Because that is your only impetus right? To be helpful and a wise scholar and teacher of Alamaze. :-)

It's all good. I disagree with your assessment of what might be in my interest. I'm simply trying to line up allies if I am attacked. Let's not forget how this would start if it even does. I have not provoked anyone, I simply moved on my natural enemy. So I would disagree that a map wide war is in my interest. I would prefer to be left alone.

Looking forward to seeing what happens regardless.

OOC: Just helping out by reading the record. Knowing the actual words tends to be useful, you know. In this case, WA said, "Yes - let us form a defensive pact against any who would encroach on Amberland or Arcania." Not sure how anyone could read that to extend to Torvale.

And I'm not telling you what's in your OWN interest, you can obviously figure that out for yourself. I'm merely pointing out that your own interests might not be in the best interests of others. Perhaps that's patently obvious to some, but it's sometimes helpful to reiterate.

My goodness - things have developed quickly, haven't they?  I will certainly come to your aid with the full force of my kingdom should there be any Elven or Witchlord incursion into Amberland or Arcania.  If they confine their activities to Torvale...well, I will need some time to consider that.  I hadn't considered Torvale to be within the scope of our agreement, so I am not well positioned or informed to provide assistance in that region.  And if the threat of my involvement can keep your Arcanian assets out of the conflict, it may be in our best interests that for me to stay on the sidelines for now.

Of course, 100K gold can certainly provide for quite a bit of wizardly development - you do know how to sweet talk a girl!  It's certainly keeping my mind open on the subject.

Understand, and luckily there is no need for now. The Witchlord did not move into Torvale and the Elf and I have managed to stay out of each other's way for the most part.
