Time for a New Alamaze Champion!

I suggest the Confluence format, where a player controls the two kingdoms in the 10 numbered zones, no dispersed kingdoms. So for as example, one player controls both the High Elves and the Druid.

The selection of zone will be in order of today's Valhalla, with the top 12 shown below. If we need to go deeper we will. So Imperial Tark would have the first choice of zone, if he posts his interest in participating in the Challenge. You can just post you are in (since you won't know what zones are available) and then edit your post to pick your zone when your turn arises.

Two turns per week, normally two slots, for the Championship we waive that and its just a $30 entrance fee (no slots).

Let's get going! We are in December. Winner gets two free months up to Imperator (not extra slots beyond 8 are free, not setups).

Straight status points? So not the best players; mostly correlated with number of games played? And points from all games? Sorry, but not sure how this is a Championship.

Most status points, including all formats.

Whoever picks 9th will get Chivalry for one kingdom. Whoever picks 10th will get Chivalry for both.

Should be an interesting Championship!

Don't know why some players are taking themselves out of this competition before it even begins. Is it the total points criteria instead of average points per game? Or that all game types are being considered instead of just single/steel games (which may be a better metric for personal achievement)? Personally, the games that I have won so far were due to drops or inexperienced players not being challenging enough but this game will be played by the best among us. So even though I'm not listed above, I'm willing to be a substitute if needed!

I mean no offense. Just did not like the slugfest format and really do not like total points as some indicator of champions.
