We all start in a pre designated region Sinestro. And since there are 5 players and 10 regions we often just claim our 2nd region in an attempt to prevent early war which almost always results in last place finishes for the 2 combatants involved.

I do not like the forest. Willing to be a team player if I can keep my starting PCs in R8, R4 and Avalon.
Will also let CI keep his starting PC in R1. If we can all agree

We will end up going to war over Amberland is why i ask. I will not give up Avalon. If you take Evanon instead then i will want 2 towns and 1 village in Torvale and you risk allowing Cimmerians to gain the 3 north regions.

Let me put it like this. Im looking around trying to decide if i should change my kingdom selection because if i dont and choose another 2nd region to focus on this is what my choices are as RA.
1) I go for Runnimede as my 2nd choice region and i go to war with Ancient Ones
2) I go for E Steppe as my 2nd region choice and i go to war with Lizards
3) I go for Amberland and i go to war with you the Amazon
Hmmm, who do i want to ensure besides myself that we most likely finish in 4th and 5th place? No one starts a game to lose right?
If i change my kingdom choice then:
1) I cant choose Elves because i wont get a 2nd region as i would have Cimmerians in region 2 and you in Region 4 and 5.
2) I cant choose Gnomes or Halflings because i would have to go to war with Ancient ones over Arcania.
That leaves Dwarves or Atlantians and i am not prepared to commit to either of those yet. If no one wants to change their choice then we will run with what we have tonight.

That is why it is diplomacy. You wish to be given 4 cities and the richest region on the map for nothing and the rest work around. I offered a deal that still lets you have 3 cities but I also get 3 and the others would have 2. sounds like a win for both of us. but if you rather fight the AM in the plains of Amberland I think we both loose.
