We tell no lies. Here we are peacefully invading Arcania, with emissaries at numerous Pirate holdings when the Tyrant declares us enemy and even attempts to denigrate us in Runnimede. So we enemy back and get accused of starting a war of words. Nonsense. Let us finish off Arcania and then we can fly south to your weak holdings.

Shoot....you heard about that? Well, we didn't want others to know, but if it must come out...it must. The KING was having a lead induced moment when he instructed our sources in Runnimede to start the rumor about you and....well, you know who. We quickly got that under control as you can see by our declaring you neutral. It is a shame that you are taking it so badly....we'll wait for you to come down....make sure you wipe your feet before coming in.

Yes this is great guys. I have the 1EL army group in Torvale, the 1BL army group and 2 BL army in and out of Arcania as well as a handful of emmissaries. 2 TY patrols looking for my PC's in Arcania. Only kingdom missing from the party is DE. Comeon down!

Uh....point of order, point of order (if I only had a gavel). I was not looking for pc's, I already know where they all are. There were 2 fine unusual sightings that I was going to. Initially found them when I was forced to move to the Sands. Had a chance to go back and get them. Well you got whatever revenge by killing my wizard....I really thought you couldn't assassinate a moving target, I'll have to look at the order again.

On a serious note....I'm really starting to think that Alamaze has passed me by. Never been good at the military aspect of the game. More of the diplomacy player, but things have been happening in this game that never happened before. I know some the rules have changed, and perhaps this is where I part with the new setup. A lone capt in a patrol, use to be that you couldn't do anything to him as an opposing brigade + setting opposite him. Don't know how I got stunned (the spell says there has to be combat...there wasn't). Use to be that assassinating a moving wizard would have been like trying to win the lottery...near impossible (unless you were the UN with an early attempt before movement). Having a max normal level of P5 and having a P4 use the stone of all minds in two consecutive turns and failing both times (50k each time)...well, that was a rarity too. And then there is the Staff of Disdain...as a diplo style player...LOVED it, not anymore....rarely, if ever, works.
So, I don't want to sound as if I'm crying about misfortune...a lot of mistakes are mine, but some are not. Perhaps there are too many changes for my tiny mind to wrap around. Some of you have been here since the inception of the new changes and perhaps took part in the beta testing and what-not, so you understand the nuances...and good on you. As for me I don't think I'm ready for this.
So, let's finish this game and see where life takes us.

Actually Mr Pirate I hit nothing in Arcania. All I have done is take the towns and villages in my 2 regions. And I did that with all interlopers. The one advantage to this kingdom is troop speed.
On a similar note to the Tyrant, I thought it was 50% chance to go beyond normal magic limit, but my wizards were 0 for 9 on advancing to 6. We'll see how this turn goes.

The TY can go to 5, according to the setup and my 4's just don't want to get there....total wasted turns attempting

Mad Hatter. I had read that only patrols could interact with enemy patrols so i scoured my spell list to see what i could do to prevent you from interacting with that fine unusual sighting area we were in. The stun spell was the only one that did not give me an error message so i tried it not knowing if it would work. As far as the assassination order 945 allows a 'range' of area to operate in. Unlike the emmissary which can move on order 350 which occurs before the attempt. A lone captain patrol in the sea can also be intercepted except when he uses an elite ship. I had tracked both your patrols so i knew where they were and to discourage you from PC hunting ( how do you know where they are all at without having priestess?) and from stealing artifacts in my region.
Son of Conan, i just failed my 3rd attempt in a row to advance a wizard to 6. The 50% chance is looking more like a 10% to me.
Elves, have just flooded Torvale with emmissaries , denigrated me, assassinated a baron and a governor and have their 1EL with a Pow 7 there.

Mad Hatter, did you earlier find a key? I found a 'quest' unusual encounter site.
