Should be back up and able to enter orders. Its been an education as to what the hosting service does not do. We may have problems again. I have spoken with Mike about a migration but that would take some time if he's even willing.
Everyone get your orders in tonight for games due in the next couple days.

I authorized Softlayer to install virus software, but they weren't sure if they could do that due to policy. Not to mention I was shocked they didn't provide it. I have paid them over $60,000 since the beginning of Fall of Rome for boxes probably not worth more than a couple thousand. I don't know how to install software on a hosted server myself. I have paid all that money to avoid this kind of problem, now I just feel stupid.
I will check with them again.

You would think they would log what they did the time before to make it run correctly again. The worst part of this type of intermittent outages is that not everyone is effected the same. Some players are getting a few turns in and others are not.
If you can get UMs help maybe the best thing would be to first pause all games for a week or two until the problem is resolved. Or the site is stable for more than day.
I was working on thursdays turns when it went down this time. I am sure other have not gotten orders in for some of the earlier games. I would not want to get an unfair jump on the other players
