Soldier, rest! thy warfare is over,
Sleep the sleep that knows not breaking;
Dream of battled fields no more,
Days of danger, nights of waking.
These days are no more....
A farewell my friend....

Thank you Rellgar for that poignant sentiment that I believe we will all share.
The Gray Mouser was playing in Alliance with Ohman, and he was our captain, my first personal experience with him.
I won't go further with that as it is not significant to our loss as a community and to all who knew Michael.
We've that been with Alamaze from the Resurgence and before have gone through a lot, but this is hard.
We grieve for our loss and the loss of those everywhere that knew Michael. I believe it was his last message to me in our Alliance game where we are not faring too well where he said, "I never quit". For humanity, that might be among the best virtues as we will all face many kinds of adversary and press on until we can no longer. And let's live life fully in that spirit.
Let's give our thoughts to Michael, his friends and family, and thank him selfishly for what he added to our community.

I have been gaming with Mike for over thirty years. He was the most thoughtful, unselfish player I have ever had the pleasure to game with. He will be missed by many.
Though I never had the chance to meet our Ohman face to face
There's not one in all the kingdoms that will ever take his place.
Now our circle has been broken, bye and bye lord bye and bye
There's a better home awaiting in the sky lord in the sky.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. He was a joy to play with (and against). Perhaps we'll see an emissary in the future named for him as tribute?
