The situation is worse than I thought. It's not a password issue. When Rick moved into his new home, he had issues with his computer and decided to switch to GoDaddy for Alamaze's support email. One would think that would be ok but the Alamaze game servers are still using the former email service from Rackspace. Rackspace must have a grace period where they allow you to use their mail service for a while when your contract runs out and it looks like we're hitting the end of that grace period. Now, someone has to migrate the game server to using GoDaddy rather than Rackspace. Since I don't have the time to do a migration like this, I recommended Rick to go back using Rackspace. If so then no changes will have to be made to the software and websites. If not then a programmer is needed to do the migration. Until then, no games will process correctly so Alamaze is in limbo.

I've been in touch with Rackspace and will have to establish a new account.
Mike and I will have to communicate to ensure all the details are correct in setting up the accounts. For one, I own several domains and am not sure which one the code expects.

We're making some headway. Password requirements have changed at all email service providers so the plan seems to be to change the places in the code that reference the email server and password we use to email turns and warnings. Mike may have some other options but his time is limited. I'd guess restoring today is unlikely as we'll have some back and forth and doing steps independently.
When it does get fixed I'll be extending the renewal dates for the out of action days. Sorry guys. I think this is the second little hiccup we've now had in 5.5 years of the Resurgence. Hang in there.
No big deal Rick. Hope it’s not too frustrating for you.
