Let's get a few things staright, I am not allied with the TY only offered a little diversion against the SO. Conflict in the east benefits me. Then I am accused of a MEGA alliance yet I am the one with at least four kingdoms invading me. Hmmm......
Guess this is the last time I am playing this game...but hey I thought it would be a good diversion instead it is just like it was before a pain in the ass!

Perhaps work on your flaws and where mistakes occurred in both diplomacy and strategies?

Rellgar it's not about mistakes, I make plenty, it's about the good ole boy system. In a Diplomacy game only one kingdom wrote me at the beginning of the game. This is not what I came back for. I have better things to do with my time than waste a couple hours on a turn. As one looking from the outside many alliances were formed before the game had started. So as a new (coming back player) it's not very much fun. If you all want the game to grow you may want to handle diplomacy games differently. Funny thing, it was obvious to the SO that there was no coordination between the TY and I, we bummed into each other twice. I did not send emmy's all I was trying to do is keep him busy until I decided what I really wanted to do. However somehow I have masterminded this great attack upon his kingdom. But any excuse will do. All I am guilty of is having a defensive pack with the Druids and Rangers....That's my big power alliance.... There is my side. I want diplomacy but got very little in the game. Thanks to those two Kingdoms that actually wrote to me (You know who you are).

I can understand that, yet I dont think 1 game is trying. How many kingdoms did you contact? I planned to ally with 2 new players I contacted 2 of you returning players and one of you contacted me. Only one of the 2 replied back to me ( DA) wanting to work together, but denied wanting to ally. Which is why I have allied to 2 other players. Only after being shun by the other 2 of the returning players. I said I would only ally to 2 kingdoms this game and was hoping it be 2 returning players, I had WA and NE wanting to ally with me turn 1 and had the NE hold off until I was sure the DA or another did not want to ally. The DA chose to work with me and is doing well.
Propaganda is part of a diplomacy game.
There will be many surprises in a diplomacy game and they are not like a silent and nothing like an anonymous game. I see some kingdoms that are working together now will be fighting each other in a few turns. Some kingdoms that appeared to be hostile from the start, were and are working together.
There can be fun and purpose in losing, it all depends on your attitude and perspective.

I had no intention to make any move but to build my kingdom. You started the aggression with me by moving on a human pop u didn’t start with in my region!! Then threatening to go to war. Then you sir allied with my Western neighbor and then made a NAP with my Eastern neighbor. So I made my deals with two kingdoms for survival. You also made the RA your ally and he was pilfering my artifacts from my Mists. So please no pitty parties, as you and your allies have been the aggressor and moved on me since turn one!!!!
The other groups on your Southern border I have had no contact with. I did offer assistance to the SO as he like myself looked to be targeted by several kingdoms.
So to your claim that alliances were started before the game. NOT!!! Everything that has occurred on my part was due to u!!!!
And PS: before you start justifying your taking the pop in R2, it was fine for you to attack others in R5, who controlled pops? No?

Sigh - I've been mostly tied up in real life over the holiday season but this game reminds me of everything I don't like about diplomacy games. I think we really need a bigger player pool to pull them off.

You continue to try and take our town in Amberland despite us having done nothing to you. The first time I might have attributed to a mistake in thinking it was held by the BL, but now a 2nd time you rebel it from me? Are you trying to provoke war then?
