If a group starts siege on a city the same turn the city's owner builds a castle then the siege cannot go on?

The siege goes first, So if its the final turn of the siege, it would be successful if the sieging groups attack rating is still higher than the city's defence.

so if the castle is built on the 1st or second turn of the siege than it would be unsuccessful?

Correct... which is why it can be a cat and mouse game where you lure someone in and then build a castle.
Not sure it makes a lot of sense to be able to build a castle during a siege, but it's an interesting tactic now.

That would be the intention but this is a various nuanced thing that I did not directly address in the design document so not sure if it will be in the code. The code certainly will check for the new PC defense rating vs the seiging group.
However, there should also have been (if you had a better designer) a provision that a PC under siege cannot build PC Improvements.

Not sure if it's a bug or not but if you use a HP to locate groups and the group is in a location not explored the group shows up very faintly, almost invisible.

Noticed when I build a citadel it becomes a fortress on the results showing building in the city. I did get the citadel bonuses but then it turned into a fortress
