As I posted a couple weeks ago, Mike made most of those changes as he posted today.
A few kingdoms had too many starting brigades, this was corrected. The biggest adjustment was increasing the defense value of PC's with fortifications. Not that a PC that shows 15,000 defense now has 20,000 shown defense, but players know brigades and PC's have a defense value or loss divider. So a base value might be a Goblin brigade has a defense divider of 1.0. A Ranger brigade might have a loss divider of 2.0 and a Red Dragon brigade of 3.3. This for Regular experience. A Veteran brigade gains about 20%, and an Elite maybe 40%. PC's had a defense of about 1.1 with no improvements or kingdom adjustments. Now it is about 1.3, so close to 20% tougher. And if they have a fortification, it is now about 1.7, reflecting the better defensive position, so more than 50% tougher than last week. So adjust your plans to reflect that. Taking out a Greater Castle now will not be like it was a week ago. Another change was a temporary fix to Forge, as Mike said, for the time being its just more expensive to armor a group. Later, the intention was individual brigades were to be equipped rather than a permanent change to a group. I believe as well, Mike has cancelled a fortress or citadel being eliminated for a castle of any type. So, for him to confirm, you can now have both a citadel and a castle in a city. In general, we should now better see the expansion of effective strategic options to include a building / defensive core to be less susceptible to a rush when you expand to your second or third region, if you are so inclined.

Make sure you check all your orders after clearing cache. I had orders missing from 2 different turns that was saved and ready to run.

I'm actually not able to access the order entry system right now. Is it just me or are others experiencing the same thing?
