Correction 100K in current Terrain. 80K vs PC.

He had 2 warlords and the following mix:

Brigades
2 Red Dragons Elite 5,586 Palace Guard
1 Red Dragons Veteran 13,965 Able Bodied Men
3 Wyverns Veteran
1 Phoenix Elite
1 Great Bats Elite
3 Great Bats Regular

So sure, decent power but throw out the bats- they are among the weakest in the game. Capital always gets the biggest positive modifier. Defense was 56k. Fear takes 10% off, then windstorm.

Figure it is still surprising but he rolled well. Took 46% casualties.

While I love hearing when other dragons take a beating against city walls (though I wish he had failed), this is where I lose track of what appropriate etiquette is as diplomacy no longer looks the way I am used to from "way back when". What is normal in terms of disclosing information on the public forum related to what people have and where?

I would have to agree. Disclosing Pop Center Locations or values, and Military Values and Brigade make up in the current game is over sharing the information I would think. I know what the makeup is since that is my teammate and I have seen the battle report. I don't think sharing that with the other kingdoms is proper etiquette, to be honest.

I disagree and it’s not forbidden on the first page. Lizard Men group compositions and locations are next.

Unless everyone thinks so. I don’t understand why that is forbidden though.

lets not discount that elite bat.  he is likely stronger than any regular brigade the TY can muster.

anyway I knew this battle was close and to be honest did not know I would come out on top but other factors not mentioned above also come into play.  those RD and phoenix defensive values are incredible making them worth much more than an average brigade and likely why I took 46% damage instead of retreating at around 65% casualties.  also on offense remember these are flying troops so they get +20% vs pop centers and the unit also has renown standard for another +10%  those bonuses should cancel any capital bonus.  oh and only two warlords (Really!!)  that adds 50% to some already nasty strong units.

spells while I agree windstorm should be able to be dispelled it is not on the pull down menu so should have been no surprise much like summon death is not able to be dispelled.  you seem to have no issue that your casting a spell into combat from a patrol to be fair any spell that can effect a combat in that square should only be allowed to come from a group that has at least one brigade at the time of casting the spell.   those are just my thoughts on it.

I also agree with others spitting out details of groups and locations of towns and such does violate the spirit of trash talking in forum.  by giving one sided information you are effectively ally building because they now have more information to beat one side than the other.

Go ahead, no need to post about the 4TY 17 brigade army group, it no longer exists. As for 1LI army group, its coming for what's left of you.

Surprised by that result too. 17 brigade TY defending was wiped out by a 13? Brigade LI group- and he only took 15% casualties. My value in terrain was 61k.

Fair to say I had a bad turn.

So let me get this straight. No talk about pop centers. No talk about groups. In other words no talk about the game and what is happening? I wouldn’t call that forum diplomacy. Is the only thing allowed trash talk? Call it “forum trash talk only” then. Why list out what is and isn’t allowed if everyone is gonna start
whining when group composition is discussed? If you don’t want group strength discussed put it in the list of prohibited items like the other ones.

Here is what I should have said in “spirit”:

A group took my city. I cant tell you anything else because that would give you an advantage in the eyes of the team that is winning so let’s all not talk. Drums in the deep.
