Hey Rellgar hang on, I might have someone. Trying to get ahold of him now, he's not a complete newb but pretty close, he played one game of second cycle with me seven thousand years ago. He will need a great deal of coaching but is quite a good gamer in general, he likes Axis and Allies online.

Thanks, ereganon has also expressed interest 8n it. Email support and get it worked out. I love Axis and Allies, I've played over 500 games of AA and won a few championships back in the day at gaming conventions.

Wow he would really love to talk to you about A&A then, but he's not answering his phone right now.

Rick already assigned it to another player, let's get the new guy into a duel game, I'm available

He's not interested in a duel, but he would love to talk about Axis and allies strategy, his mail is: Nizhnikovm1@southernct.edu
We're playing games now, while I wait for these laggards to press ready

Just chiming in with, yes, the standby for DW was assigned, and two, the trigger of Axis & Allies.
Some may know I refer to A&A in some ads and discussion on Alamaze, not that the games are very similar, but that I haven't found an A&A player with a decent attention span that didn't like Alamaze. And also that Michael Gray, the designer of Shogun, the game that advanced the big box Milton Bradley games from A&A wrote the "famous" review of Alamaze in Dragon Magazine #131. Shogun won Game of the Year at Origins / Gen Con for board game when Alamaze won for PBM. We've actually had quite a number of game designers play Alamaze, and some have copied it (see Middle Earth PBM) and been inspired by it (Jim Landis of "Legends"), and been confounded by it (dear departed Rick Loomis of Flying Buffalo), and of course RSI that licensed it. Some others I am not recalling right now.
Get your friends in Alamaze. Duels are free to try and no one gets hurt by a drop. No one is invoiced until their first full campaign starts.
Also, if new players want a Primeval (five player game) among themselves or with one mentor, post a thread.

The King of Dragons speaks ....
Atlantians I see we have a common interest. I signaled my intentions with my actions last turn and hope you will reciprocate this turn. We are an ancient race and the strength of our fury and the power of our friendship are well documented in the annals of history.
I am hear to learn to fight ... it matters not whose ruins smolder beneath the feet of my mighty dragons. We can, when pressed, control our most basic of primal cravings --> the Halflings still scurry amongst us uneaten ... for now.

King of Atlantis might be unreachable for a couple days, but I can say we greatly appreciate your actions last month and rest assured they will be duplicated. Beat us to the punch, congrats.

Communicating in code between the teams.
Perhaps we need to join in these talks and come play with Stormgate and the baby village.
