This game is semi-silent where players may post forum requests for trade or smack between kingdoms but no outside communications than the forum and no allies. Good luck to all!

Greetings from the Lord of the Dead. Food is for the living ... we anticipate having much to trade. Mighty Dragons if thy belly grumbles satiation is only a trade away. While my hordes don't eat ... they do love gold.
NE to PI - I have a town in your lands that I would like to keep. We have ancestral graveyards there that are precious to us. Happy to discuss terms.
NE to ALL - Death comes to us all ...embrace it and die well. You and your people will always have a home with the Necromancer where they may rise again. Good luck!

I think this game is going to be interesting in the early stages at least. Since this is a semi-silent game, I'll share my thoughts on what I'm thinking about for an opening strategy for the Gnomes with some smack talk added in.
I don't know what's going to happen on the east side of the map but out west, the Red Dragon in Triumvia should dictate what happens early on. Opening strategies for us westerners will have to consider dealing with the mighty Red. Also the Black Dragon in Darkover may become an issue as well especially with DuPont controlling them. With water all around, I would guess the Red may either head to Zanthia against the gold rich Gnomes looking for easy prey or fight the Black in region 2. Or both dragon kingdoms with their long movement ranges may surprise everyone and skip a region or two and head southeast, we'll see.
Now onto smack: I welcome both dragons in Zanthia to try out if they can conquer my golems. As I mentioned in a previous post, a full division of rock golems has a higher defensive rating than the RD but defense is not the only stat to consider in battles. Dragon forces have a powerful missile and charge phase while golems are mainly all infantry. Since my wizards can't cast Chaos spells against Stalwart kingdom traits (like the RD), I may take up Draugr's advice and add goblins to my group (which prevents opposing forces from withdrawing properly) but that will dilute the golem defense rating.
It will be interesting to see if golems can stand toe-to-toe against the RD or BL troops and I don't mind if they destroy my group. Gnome wizards will be able to summon a full division of golems every turn if needed while the dragon forces will have to wait for those cycling turn 5 reinforcements. So I welcome both dragon kingdoms to invade Zanthia and we'll see how it goes.
On another note, the Necromancer in Krynn may surprise us with an undead horde of cheaply made skeletons and zombies since he is somewhat surrounded by water as well. So I may need to consider dealing with an early undead horde for my opening strategy. Those battles may be interesting of having the NE wizards summoning skeletons/zombies and GN wizards summoning golems. That may end up being an extended battle between the two kingdoms.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to any military invasion of Zanthia to test out if I am right or to just shut me up...

Interesting overview from the Gnomes - your thoughts and insights are appreciated.
As a comment, it is well known that dead Gnome flesh has a distinct and, very unsavory, taste ... plus they do not meet the minimum height requirements for our undead hordes. Like the graveyard next door ... we can make for very quiet neighbors if not antagonized.

Dwarves - Dark Elves; We have a town in Pelinor. We would like to keep it and we are willing to work out a fair trade.
Dwarves - All May your swords be sharp, your shields strong, and your thirst for blood be satisfied. Good luck all!

IL --> The World!
Wizard for hire! We do parties, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs (really ANY mitzvah), Kwanzaa celebrations, palm readings, and general fortune telling. We're working on our balloon animals and should be able to provide that service within the first season or two. Really we do it all. Even the whole seance thing, though we'd rather not. Yuck. Krynn has someone better suited for that.
Lord Black, we have a town in Darkover. It's where we do most of our trapeze training. They're a bunch of high-maintenance folks that don't do well with change, so if you have plans there we should discuss. I can probably put in a good word that will keep them from wanting to oppose a transition. For proper compensation, of course, as we'd need funds to build another really big tent with some swings. Those are expensive.
(PI) Yo Ho Ho you landlubbers. Pirates are open to trade with someone far south if interested. Also would pay handsomely for a village among a sea.
Have a town in Triumvia that I would trade for Crown Islands if possible. Also, please let me know ahead of time about popcenter in Crown Islands and will grant a favor in the future. Or I can just take it with no favor. Your choice but Crown Islands will be exclusively our domain.
