I recall a time when this was frowned upon. Alas, seems that time has passed. 

Fear not, I'll take my beating - from you or from UN (or both), whichever - and refrain from shouting to the world all of your details.

Not sure why. If there is communication allowed then why wouldn't kingdoms share intel to others? The frowning I recall in years past was for the purposes of ganging up on an individual kingdom with coordinated attacks. That seems to have mostly gone away with forum only comms, and eliminated the 3 on 1 attacks that no individual could withstand.

I agree with Painted on this one. “ The frowning I recall in years past was for the purposes of ganging up on an individual kingdom with coordinated attacks.”  It actually seems to be built into the statement that you made above. I will say my mighty underworld troops took one of his legendary cities this turn! I only had to recruit about 98 brigades to get it done

How exactly would one hire the Underworld or Pirate to do any agent actions without providing intel? Coordinated attacks in my description being "Ok, kingdom so and so has 4 towns and 5 villages. I'm hitting the first two towns and 3 villages, you hit the other 2 and 2 at the same time. We'll be doing it with the following groups so make sure you don't double up on each popcenter." That is a coordinated attack. Or as some liked to describe it "3 on 1 gangbang" if I recall correctly.

There is no coordination in my message. It is: "Hey, here is this info. If you want to use it go ahead as he is a common enemy." Coordination would be "You go for the Horn and I'll go for the Standard. His counter espionage agent Hammer is located at XX and is a level YY and who is going to sleep him?"

That also makes sense.  Think i just got a splinter sitting on this fence.  Maybe you can snail mail me a 3x5 index card with info, old school.

So I leave the sturdy DW's town alone for the WHOLE game, well over 30 turns to this point, and he goes ahead and grabs 3 of my villages anyway.  That's just no respect whatsoever and it strikes a very discordant chord - F, diminished of course!
