How big? Would they work for sails on a sleek, very sleek actually, two masted longship?
Magenta would make for a great back drop for a skull and cross bones so that talk just tickled my fancy and made me want to learn more.
Oh yes....pray tell ... furry or smooth? Aerodynamics are important.

I will take your ignorance of a sign that you have not had occasion to assault too many dragon ballbags. A good thing. That you could use the word "furry"? A bad thing. Extra scales, perhaps? To put it into more aquatic terms (you're welcome), imagine a pirarucu, but bigger, and the scales look about like that (but magenta).
Accordingly, likely not the most aerodynamic. Quite large, though.

I will do a trade with you ... 3 turns, 15,000 gold for 30,000 food, plus a ride on one of my pleasure cruisers. We do boat tours, show off our sleek, very sleek actually, longships and I can even point out recent addition to the ship. A teeny tiny pink scrotum sewn into the corner of the sail. It is a little grizzled despite all of our hours spent rubbing it (we really rubbed it) with the finest oils of Nyvaria. Unfortunately, not even the best of oils can bring back the lost suppleness of an undead's scrotum (recently donated by a trespassing Necromancer).
Please confirm the trade and best date for your ride on the pleasure cruiser.

If you would like to apologize for your little attempted trespass please do so ... us Pirates are volatile, violent, and viscous when provoked (which you did) but we can be a forgiving and jovial bunch. We understand that sometimes men get overtaken by their greed and make very poor, rash even, decisions. I would need some token of regret, however, in addition to the apology. Perhaps a slightly generous one time trade?
Let me know - my men are sharpening their swords and our ships sail the seas. I am happy to bury the hatchet.

Mr. Druid Needle,
We would be interested in a food trade starting in two months (turn 10). Amount currently TBD but we're hoping y'all do some sort of dibs method when deciding on tradin partners. Likely around 40k or so per month to cover through summer (4 turns in total). We're planning on lots of cookouts... just got a new smoker and have been watching the Frankling BBQ masterclass.
Do let us know?
Much love,
The non-reddest of dragons

Done. 3 turns. Confirmed. And the Pleasure Cruise? I have heard that the Druids, despite their pious demeanor, loosen up after a few pints of Pirate Ale?

Pirate, happy for you that you are becoming self aware. Your admission of your greed, combined with your poor and rash decisions is a good first step. Your admission of foolishness in attacking my holding and declaring me enemy for your trouble is token enough of your regret - no further apology is required. We will let it go with a gentle pat on your cute little bandanna head. Shoo now.
