I think 3 championship qualifier games is to many. Or only the winners of the 3 are automatically in, the 2nd and 3rd places still count in the cumulative points with everyone else.

I would agree and think that next year that would be the way to handle it. Never going to be any 'perfect' system of course but giving out three entry forms for wins in named games seems a good incentive. But if one wanted to, you could turtle and accumulate points to get the third slot in a game without too much effort if you wanted to play it safe. Which I never want to do.

How ironic is it that we often have trouble getting 12 players to launch a new game but come championship time we have to leave players behind?
