Amazons
#11
I can agree that most of the Kingdoms can be improved or changed to some degree or another, I am trying to concentrate on each Kingdom as I get to it. Amazons are one of the least-played Kingdoms (in the bottom quarter by Valhalla) so I was trying to figure out why. Its close resemblance to SA was the first reason I came up with. The Amazons I think of as like the Comanche and Apache stereotypes, but of the European steppes. Their descendants, the Cossacks, showed tricks on horses the Native Americans could not match, so archery and supremacy in Plains seemed appropriate.

Not really sure what else should be added or subtracted to make them stand out without changing their character. I do like the Kingdom, just think it needs more differentiating from SA.

So, AM have the following Companions: Apes, Hill Giants, Mammoths, Wildlings, Zealots. Should we change any of these?

I Like their troop mix. However they still have trouble with legendary castles. This is less then ideal for a conquering hoard. Maybe give them siege engineering like the nomads got. They are close just need a bit of a tweak.

Agree but it’s best companions need elite to recruit, and that’s a random promotion?, could go veteran, and war machine if you add siege engineering? Also could add Giant Eagles and/or Griffons? To spice it?
