"Thus did the gates of Hell open, and demons three arose from the
pit eternal, unleashed upon the world as punishment for its sins!"

Vermin Free Traitors!

Remove thine wretched selves from the pitiful excuse for a city that your kind calls Stormgate. Verily, we ARE the storm! This fragile city was erected atop unholy ground, its bloodsoaked soil seeped in rituals which you would have no understanding of, no appreciation of. Even now, we stir in the midst of your beggarly minions gathered there. Remove thyselves, or prepare to be removed!

Woe and misery be yours, and be upon you with unrelenting Hell-fury, should you resist! We do not come to negotiate. Our purpose is greater than you and yours. Flee with thy lives intact, and seek wretched peace elsewhere among the weak-fleshed ones!

Damnation be thine!

A big gamble on Turn #5 did not pay off for the Demon Princes, but I really wanted to see what would happen.

Part of my turn results says this:

Mammon                Demon Prince Mammon report on the mission to rebel the Free Traders major
city of Stormgate located in area NP: I was concerned my strategy would
need to take into account the Free Traders control over Stormgate. Although
the people of Stormgate seemed pleased with the Free Traders rule, I
compensated for this in my plan. I found a motivated core of resistance
resisting my overtures, in support of the Free Traders regime. I found a
motivated core of supporters assisting my overtures, in favor of changing
the Free Traders regime. I am ashamed to report that my plans were leaked
by a conservative infiltrator, resulting in failure to move the people to
                            rebellion.

Prisoner              Demon Prince Mammon was incarcerated by guards in the angry throng that was
addressed at the major city of Stormgate (Area NP).

And another part of my turn results says this:

    In Memorium
                Title                Name                    Turn Lost
              Demon Prince        Mammon                      5

So, is this character/figure dead, or just incarcerated somewhere? I won't lose sleep over it, either way, but I want to understand with certainty what the case actually is.

AT-FT the village of Cornucopia is under the jurisdiction and protection of the Atlantian Kingdom.
We wish to perpetuate free trade in the Tempest and Waves of Azure. May our profits soar!
Any hostile actions will be an act of war.

DE- your prince is in the Freetraders dungeon.

I suspected as much, but I thank you for your confirmation of that fact.

Free Traitor Scum,

The Eternal Kingdom of the Demon Princes recognizes the Atlanteans' legitimate claim upon the village of Cornucopia. Know, 'O foolish Ones, that thy ill-conceived incarceration of Mammon, Prince of Hell, will not stand, puny mortals! The very wrath of Hell will be poured out upon you and your puny minions. To be certain, war shall be your reward for your petty meddling in Stormgate.

Damnation take thee!

Cornucopia? Cornucopia? What does that remind me of? Oh yes! Food available.

Up to 40k food at 2 food for one gold. I.e. You want the 40k food, you trade me 20k gold!

Demon Prince in a dungeon will be like shit through a goose!

I may take you up on your food trade offer, but I haven't tried to submit orders for turn #6, yet, so I don't know how much gold, if any, that I'll have to spare.

And why shit through a goose for a Demon Prince in a dungeon? I know that there is an escape option, but would counter-espionage prevent Mammom from excaping? Also, I noticed that there were two escape options - one costing 6,000 gold, and the other one costing 12,000 gold. Who ends up getting the gold? Mammon's captors? Or does the system just take it? Is one more risky than the other? Or is the 12,000 gold option just two attempts at escaping, instead of just one for the 6,000 gold?
