Another option is a 4 player game with each controlling three kingdoms.

I'll play the 2 kingdom game. Or if Brek would start one where one person controls 10 kingdoms, I'll play that.

It appears to be called the "warlord" format, and yes, I believe I can set it up. I would need to know the play speed, whether you prefer anonymity, and whether you want 7 or 8 regions for the win.
One thing I'll ask going forward, if we continue these types of games, is that we make your forum name and your account name match, or at least you tell me your account name via PM. Some players have multiples, and it's a real pain to set up the game when names don't match easily. It can get confusing with multiple fields to modify.

I suggest:
Player A picks two regions
Player B picks two regions
Player C picks two regions
Player D picks all three regions at once
Player C picks one region
Player B picks one region
Player A gets the last region
Player A picks two kingdoms
Player B picks two kingdoms
Player C picks two kingdoms
Player D picks all three kingdoms at once
Player C picks one
Player B picks one
Player A picks one

I would do a Warlords. And the above suggestion for picking regions and kingdoms looks fine. We just need to confirm 4 players and get someone to randomize our order.
And when we send the final set-up to Brek, just make sure we have player names for him rather than forum names.
And remember that when you pick a kingdom, you immediately assign it to one of your regions.
Probably goes without saying, but this is already a "team" game since we each have 3 kingdoms, so there is no further intentional teaming up.
