Has anything changed with this? The turn reports talk about 1 point being required for Classic, 2 for Warlord, and so on. Have points been assigned to each service level?

Yes, for example, at Commander Level Service, a player has 3 game slots available to him, and can request a Standby Position as well. With his 3 game slots he can be in 3 different Classic (15 or 12 player games) at the same time, or one Classic and one Warlords (counts as 2 slots) game at the same time. A Titan game, where a player controls six kingdoms against a single opponent also with six kingdoms, counts as 3 game slots and is available at the Victor and Imperator Service Levels.

Thanks, Ry Vor. I was curious because of the way it's worded on the turn sheets. From what you are saying, I take it that they are not tied to one another.
It was the 'Warrior, provides 2 game points' and 'Classic = 1 Game Point', 'Warlord = 2 Game Points', etc.. that made me wonder if you had assigned game points to the service levels. I was hoping you had, because it looks like a great way to manage the service levels. It would certainly be more intuitive than what is listed in the service level sheet.
Then again, maybe they are related and it's just hard to see it clearly....

First I love the game. My problem, I can pay less to play another online game per month, any of them really. But like I said I love the game. My real problem is the 8 dollar per game extra start up cost. If I sign up for warrior level, perferred start, I will pay at least another 8 dollars to start making my first month cost 35 dollars. add that some of your players have been playimg for awhile so I plan to get smoked in the beginning so my games will go fast. which then means I will pay more like 42 dollars a month to play. I that is cheaper then the old way but still outdated for today. If sign up costs are erased please email me and let me know, I have several other friemds who feel the same way. Anyways love the game, the strategy, the people.
thanks
hopefully a returning player

Hi Titus,
If you want to try it, Titus, do this. Sign up for Scout, that's $19.95 for your first month, starting on the day your game forms (starts). There is no setup fee for your first game, which should last you three to four months at $19.95 a month.

Titus, if you and/or your friends are interested in playing, I'm very confident that I and any number of our other regulars would be happy to coach you and them through your first game. We could probably even find regulars who aren't even playing in your game to help, so you wouldn't need to worry about giving away sensitive information to possible rivals.
Just a thought!

I am always willing to assist, as several players can attest. I can be reached at ded127@aol.com.

Just a note that the service levels were updated as we have been discussing elsewhere on the forum. The Service Level descriptions are also available on the website ( www.alamaze.co), which is where new players should sign up for their accounts. Then reserve your kingdom here on the forum under the thread for the game then forming under Alamaze Signup.

This may sound stupid, but how do you change your service level from scout to warlord or whatever?

Not a dumb question at all. Just write support@alamaze.co and tell them you are enjoying Alamaze so much that you want more
Scout is 1 slot, Warrior is 2 slots, Commander is 3, Victor is 5, and the crazy folks at Imperator have 8.
