If that's the case then you, sir, are awesome and I, sir, have overpaid. I find it hard to believe, but I've seen some stranger things. You've got the positions that will hoover through the gold in short order, but I'm a bit surprised that you would have your EL position either abandon 1 or just have to continue to fight against HC denigrates. That gets as pricey as a HC seat really quick.

Regardless, it is certainly shaping into an interesting game, HC overpayment notwithstanding. It's all being funded via Torvale anyways.

I'd like to control the HC, no doubt! I just decided I couldn't afford it, yet, so let you pay for it. You obviously paid what you think it's worth though.

If the Elves are indeed running around Oakendell then your plan is working great! Deciding to bid 0 gold to even get on the HC means that I had to make some decisions regards the obvious ramifications I would be facing...

My positions are eating up gold like crazy!! I actually overspent last turn assuming I would get Evanon and I was crushed when I read that part of the report... as fates would have it I won EVERY single coin toss parlay other than that one which saved my bacon. Whew.

That hurt me though... Kevin will have a run on the cities AND the HC early out the gate. I'm shaking in my sandals right now.

I shall stick to my game plan, regardless of your HC shenanigans. I paid what I thought them to be worth... now the onus is on me to make sure I get my full bang. I believe you that you didn't bid... I considered doing the same. We can swap the first few turns once this is said and done to get a feel for each others' opening strategy (and goofs, no doubt, on my end).

Bluefile doesn't slum it over in Elsinore unless his lady needs something from the outlet center. And it's too far north for me. I just wave on my way up to wine country.
