#124 - Steel Resurgent with Twists - 15 Player

(BL) But let me say this with no equivocation. Wynand has played the UN brilliantly. 44 prisoners and having a level 23 agent (19 with ring of invisibility) is jaw dropping. I was lucky enough to get on the podium at 3rd in 128 as the UN but I had half the prisoners and never succeeded in getting an agent past level 18.

Your contribution was much appreciated! The Giant has had to rely on the generosity of their friends since the UN-GN-DE trifecta pretty much slapped the Giant senseless. I haven't contributed much to the war effort since then, but this made me happy even if the victory will be short lived.

Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. So, is the limit not the limit for agents? Is getting to 19 a dicey proposition? Never played Underworld....

To go about lvl 16 the UN agents must complete missions. Those 3 and 5% failure rates seem to add up.

(BL) Level 16 is the trainable limit for the UN. You can advance 3 more levels via successful missions. If you get the ring of invisibility it adds 4 levels to your agent.

A level 23 agent can basically do anything he wants with impunity. And it sucks to be on the receiving end of that.

That is how he killed and kidnapped king after king. It was a high bar for the next Underworld player!

Appreciate the kind words LD and Acererak...this game has been my favourite so far due to its longevity and the tenacity of opposition. Not sure the end is even close...
I salute you all and look forward to the finale.

Seems this may go down as one of the classics of Classic. I've been hearing it is going to end soon for a month, so that would indicate some drama and unexpected stuff. Hoping all will contribute to the tale when it does go to Valhalla.

Christ, isn't this game ever going to end?

#80
Probably not any time soon. Is that an issue?
