I think Morgan Kane (wfrankenhoff) is a 'maybe' on leading a team, but Mauler is in and if Hawk and his buddy jump in then we are looking to be in pretty good shape.

Wynter, maybe you can team up with Mauler to close out your team, and then we've got two full teams left open. Hawk can consider himself officially harassed by me to get in with his buddy.

Mauler is great just started working with him in another game. Great for this format.

Hawk can't be hanging a new guy carrot out there and not back it up.

This game and format is intended to give new players in their 1st to maybe 3rd games guidance from a willing mentor. It's not about assembling an experienced team.

Other players who have experience but no podium snapshots should join Seeking New Heroes.

Everyone else, and some in the first two categories, should join Experienced Steel.

So, there are three games, three formats available to sign up for now.

I don't think Morgan Kane is in the running for a mentor spot here, as he is on a protracted vacation.

But any new players can request any particular mentor who has declared eligible and not yet paired with an Apprentice.

Guess I am not allowed to play either because I am currently in three games, highest at turn 6. So leaves two spot filled so far. I would guess by the time this game fills up he will also no longer qualify.

New players, in my opinion, are nuts not to sign up for this and get an experienced, willing mentor to help you learn in your 1st - 3rd game.

I would say you can't pay for that kind of experience, but, your mentors are, and if you are brand new (first game) you aren't paying anything.

Just post that you are an apprentice looking for a mentor on this thread.

The Apprentices will get glory. The Mentors gain Immortality. I hear those things matter to some.

I'm the new old player Hawk referred to. Took me a while to get access, but I'm on here now. I'm looking forward to this format since I will be learning all over again.
