Folks,
I am wondering about the destroy town/village spells and their impact on emmisaries. According the desription, they are supposed to be "consumed in the flames" 50% of the time.
I have only two data points, but in both situations there were multiple AN consuls in the PC in question...and in both circumstances, they all escaped.
In 115, Mauler had 4 consuls in a PC in region 9; the SO destroyed this PC and all four escaped.
This past turn, something similar happened in another game (still in progress). 3 for 3 escaped.
There is a 0.0078125 chance of this happening...highly unsual at the very least.
I am wondering
(a) Does the consul ability to avoid capture apply to the Destroy PC spells?
(b) Have I interpreted the description of this spell incorrectly?
© Does the math above make sense given my understanding?
Thoughts and/or comments please.
