A Call to Arms!
It has been a great start to what we call Alamaze Resurgent - the rebirth of Alamaze in April 2013. Since then, we have started nearly 70 games, had more than 100 players play, have more than 10,000 forum posts, and are considered to have the most active player forum in PBEM, right here, by Suspense & Decision magazine.
We created the beautiful new Resurgent map, have updated the rules more than once, have constantly made improvements to orders, have introduced at least five new game scenarios, have an active Valhalla, have very low subscription pricing, and have unprecedented customer service most easily recognized by same day processing as the due date.
We really haven't made an effort to market Alamaze more actively, as we have anticipated the development of our web based order entry module. However, that development hasn't happened, and while we continue to pursue it, we can't wait indefinitely to expand our player base.
While tomorrow, May 8th 2014, will likely see three new games start, in three different formats, those will likely include only a few new players. We need to get new blood involved.
So yes, this is a request for our existing players to each introduce one new player to Alamaze. We can offer any new player introduced in May their first month for $9.95 at Scout Level Service, and if the new player refers you as their source for signup in their signup form at alamaze.co, you will get a 2 week extension on your subscription renewal.
It's good for all of us to have more players in the pool, and it will help to keep our silly-low pricing in this specialty strategy game field.
Go ahead, approach that smart friend of yours you have thought about telling the enjoyment of Alamaze. Get them to spend a whopping $9.95 to find a whole new world of strategy gaming enjoyment, play their first game with them, and bring your friendship to a whole new level. Do it!
