World Cup and patience
#11
Didn't take much patience for USA to get on the board.

Doesn't feel like we are a goal up at halftime. Would be nice if Landon was on hand given recent events.

Good fight to respond after Ghana equalized, but it seemed like a lot of our players weren't quite certain what system they were playing in. Bradley looked lost most of the game, and I'm fairly certain at one or two points in the game Beasley forgot what he was supposed to be doing.

Agreed. Bradley was not his normal self, really not a factor. Lot's of guys cramping up and we are supposedly in great shape. We were fortunate - take the 3 points and run. We get a wounded Portugal next.

See, the thing about thorns is, some of them can read, and even check in from time-to-time to see about the latest developments.

But I suppose it's nice to know what you really think of me, rather than having to assume or pretend.

For everyone else... hi there! Smile No plans to start up again any time soon, but would consider it if either the online order checker ever gets up and running, or some other major changes (whatever they might be) are released.

What an egg laid by Spain. Really an embarrassment for a defending champion. They look the slowest team in the tournament with no creativity.
The Spanish analysts all said its not fair to sit Cassilles, wait until next time. Next time? What is more important than the World Cup? Still doesn't excuse the 50% effort by all field players. It was like they didn't want to sweat.

St. Iker was garbage. Punch on that second goal... why?

Australia gets my vote for biggest heart.

Germany looks the strongest team - their bench could probably win most games.

USA is in a far better position than we could have thought going into the Group of Death. Just draw Portugal guys.

The way Portugal are playing? Maybe not that hard.

Go USA! Make Ronaldo cry.
