I won't. Bradley and Besler both switched off in the 95th minute. That was 3 points in the bag and we threw away 2 of them. Giving Ronaldo 5 feet to work with is one thing.... but not marking the SINGLE person that is sitting in the box on attack?? That's not acceptable, no matter when, but especially when you're holding on to getting into the knockouts.

If wishes were horses. You, Devil, offer me a contract for a draw before the game (not to mention down 1-0 at halftime), the only question is: "Where do I sign?"

A 1 goal loss to Germany should get us through, maybe not even that required.

Regardless of before the game, at halftime, whichever... I'm sure certain of your family members will agree wholeheartedly that we threw away 2 points and guaranteed advancement.

So now we play for a draw or better against Germany and hope for a Portugal win against Ghana.

I understand what might have been, but I say again, my whole thesis was:
1. Beat Ghana;
2. Draw Portugal;
3. Advance on goal differential.

If Ghana win by more than 1 goal and we draw OR Ghana win at all and we lose... out. Shat the bed in the 95th. It was like watching DuPont try to issue a victory check.

LOL Meanwhile, let us be positive, Mr. Delivery Person. Ghana has 1 point.
Sad as my other friends have said that the game went 95 and not 94 minutes. Meanwhile, we ALAMAZE players are tough skinned.

My 25 year old daughter Caitlin landed with friends in Brazil yesterday for the World Cup. She was Captain at Mayland when they had their only ACC Champioinship and were a #1 seed in the NCAA's. Her fiance is Jason Herrick who was Captain of the men's team when they won the National championship a few years back. Omar Gonzales and Graham Zusi were on his team, now on USA. Jason had a career ending concussion after being drafted by the Chicago Fire. Here's Caitlin's Day 1 report:

Today was awesome. Big family party with so much food. Now we know where these Brazilian steak houses come from. Watched the game at the fan fest jumbotron downtown. Atmosphere was awesome and we played so well. Got some good video footage on the GoPro. Tough ending to the match, we were devastated. Mexico Croatia game tomorrow night and taking it easy during the day before that

Are you sure you're an accountant? Cuz your math seems off.

Ghana can beat Portugal by a hundred goals. If the US draws Germany, they'll have 5 points to Ghana's 4 and advance.

The US really just has to not lose against Germany. That's all.
