Are you sure you're an accountant? Cuz your math seems off.

Ghana can beat Portugal by hundred goals. If the US draws Germany, they'll have 5 points to Ghana's 4 and advance.

The US really just has to not lose against Germany. That's all.

I stand corrected, Jumbie, and blame all the drinking that I did in the 95th minute. PS accountants are actually pretty bad at math, generally speaking.

I wouldn't expect to draw vs. Germany. I make them the favorites to win the tournament. It would have been a better chance if they got the 3 vs. Ghana. Could be painful. Let's hope Portugal shows some brass and draws or wins vs. Ghana.

You don't believe the conspiracy theorists concerning US and Germany both needing a point, and the two coaches being buddies??

I can't see Jurgen telling the USA players not to get in Germany's box, and meanwhile Germany is so deep I can't see them not scoring. Klose and Sweinsteiger off the bench? An embarrassment of riches.

I want to see Klose hit 16, just not against US. I can see both teams being defensive because a point does it for them... but I can't see Germany not pushing for at least a goal.

The humor in the Cannibal's latest incident is that, I believe his Manager was trying to defend him, and said something like, "Yeah, teeth / bite marks on his shoulder. So? How do we know he wasn't bitten there a day or two earlier? Huh? Answer me that!"

If the teeth don't fit, you must acquit!

Was talking to a friend yesterday about the problems at the world cup, like excessive diving and now biting.

We came up with this: Give Suarez an amnesty and allow players to bite only divers. Both problems would go away.

Nice game shaping up between Argentina and Nigeria, goals in 3rd and 4th minute, including Messi scoring yet again.

And again!

Its weird how good that first half was. Both teams just need a draw to move forward, but their body language says they're in it to win.

And on that note, Argentina looks dangerous for the first time this tournament and I think it's because of di Maria. He's a real presence this game and those long shots may not have much chance of scoring, but they're keeping the defense hesitant.

Big day today. Ry Vor, I look forward to zero games today as I'm sure the team is too American to do anything but enjoy the game. Let's just make this an Alamaze holiday. #Ibelieve.
