First, my appreciation to Uncle Mike and Cipher for all the work in this project. Cipher and I first started talking about this in April, 2013. That it is almost here is quite a breakthrough. Uncle Mike has been a real Champ throughout. It is still for Grasshopper to figure out, so there will be some hiccups I expect.
But all along, the idea has been to give players that order checking to avoid glitches from input rather than strategy, and also to streamline processing so we here can focus more on development rather than every day turn processing. That players now will get that certainty about successful order submission is a relief to many, and again takes away that issue from Grasshopper of following up with missing turns. There will be no charges now (not that there ever were more than a few actual charges) for resubmissions.
When we are confident this is working with both those benefits, I expect we will recover many former players, and can even go beyond with some outside recruiting.
