The nice thing about not getting turn 1 yet, I have yet to make and see my mistakes as well as I am not wiped out yet.

Not sure if its the actual cause of the delay, but support is having trouble getting my registration through. My login keeps not working and thus I'm not able to get my hands on my tool.

You know, the best part of the new order entry system is that I don't squint as I read my turns looking to see where I screwed up. It is so nice knowing that all my orders were at least entered properly. I can still make bad decisions, but I won't mess up the order entry.

Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. Anyone who reads this post should feel completely free to ignore, disregard, scorn, implement, improve, dispute, or otherwise comment upon its content.

Did Alamaze have some inflation while I was on hiatus?

Ok, so how badly did I over bid for the High Council. Obviously us Dark Elves are very poor in the Show Case show down part of the game on "The Price is Right".

How much did you pay for it?

44501, I saw Jumbie make an inflation comment, so I thought it was about that price.

I would put your bid as high but not excessive. I see right around 38k in many games. Some go very low others higher. The DA starts with more overall gold when factoring fleets and initial food stores so you do have a little extra gold to toss at it.

It went for about 41k in each of my games. If you wanted to be sure about getting it, you had to bid a bit more. Not a bad deal, since now you don't have to worry about it on round two.
