I agree with you. I was scammed by someone in Belgium. He simply claimed that he never got his cards and PayPal gave him all his money back. Actually, he claimed that he didn't get the four most expensive cards of the six I sent him. PayPal still gave him 100% refund including shipping. They didn't want to hear anything from me since I wasn't able to get actually tracking information for anything less than International Express, which the buyer wouldn't pay for.

Still, after several hundred international shipments all over the world that is the only time I got screwed. Not by someone in Thailand, China, or Tunisia. By someone in Belgium!

Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. That card you posted the image on is played. Look at the edges. If your card looks like that one it will not get close to an 8-9. Even though it's encapsulated for the past 15 years doesn't mean it wasn't played before then.

Alpha cards are rare and even though the card isn't mint it still has great value for you. A BGS 8.5 grade and 9 means basically you popped open the pack and never played with it. I know it makes sense that a card right out of the pack is like a 10 grade but that's not the case. 9.5 and 10 grades are extremely rare.
