Seems I didn't do nearly as well as everyone else. I only found 2 neutrals PCs. Of course I didn't have as much time to digest the rules as I would have liked.

I only found 3 in my region. And two in the eastern steps, one being the DW one.

Don't feel too badly, the slower movement Kingdoms often struggle in this area. If you found anything and don't have opposition at the city, you're doing all right.

Or you just got unlucky. It does happen and on turn 1 nothing to be upset about. Just shoot for control on turn 4. Now if you were using 725s and only sent 3 armies out looking for PC. You were creating your own bad luck which is also fine just do not expect to get that region early.

So if I read the posts above correct, to investigate the medium unusual sighting as the BL, I need to have 50-75 points from just leaders and wizards? I don't think I'll do much investigating then. All the leaders and wizards combined from all my groups only equals 44 points based on 7 points for 1st level wizards.

I would not recommend anyone investigate a medium encounter until they get P3 or higher wizards or some very good leaders. You should not go into an encounter with wizards at full strength unless you have some kind of production for them.

Regarding cities: Would I see if someone was in the city with me? OR do I need to order the agents to scout it to know?

You need to scout. Remember they start controlled so you need to issue a 320 to make it neutral first unless you moved two emmies in. Then one does 320 the other 330

So I am outside of village with a defense of 3000. my troops have a value vs. population center of 5880. the region's reaction level is tolerant. what are my best options for this village?

If you guys are talking specific about your kingdom please put a tag to let those not actively in the game know who is talking. It will help others if they read the thread in the future. Example I would start my post

(WA). I ran in a DW group in the R6. How do I know if I can fight it.?
