This is an ideal Primeval game: four players in their first game (at least since the Resurgence) and a top player as Mentor. New players, do take advantage of the Mentor - ask lots of questions both via email, and perhaps here on the forum on this thread. Your questions will help more players than just yourself.

Okay... first question... Maps. I see every is using a Powerpoint Map. My PPT skills are ridiculed across the wide Western United States. Is there an excel map? Do you guys print it out and work from there? Any map using pointers or tips?

I would recommend if you do not like using PPT to print a map with the boarders. Then get Bananas parser program and input your turns into it. This will give your the data maybe needed from past turns but allow you to use your big map to plots things like where you moved and other things you feel you would like to keep track of.
For me the conferring to ppt came when I started messing with my turns at work and did not want to pull out a map of my alamaze game and put it out on my table.
