I'm not familiar with these new scenarios... With only 12 kingdoms, will we know which kingdoms are in or out at the start?

this varies at game set up. games will start with 12 kingdoms often. sometimes it is just which kingdoms were not picked, which could even leave an empty region on the map. other times it is predetermined. in either case as of the last few games every one will know who is inactive based on the enemy/ally chart.

In this game there is no Giant, Warlock, or Underworld!
That left a big whole right in the middle of the map. Who will snag those cities first? Will the Red Dragon lay into the Gnome now that there is no 3rd kingdom in Runnimede? Or will he rush to Amberland to ckaim it for himself. Will the Ancient Ones abandon Torvale to the Troll and rush on Avalon?
The Witchlord and Sorcerer have no natural enemies now. Will that help the wizard kingdoms dominate?nor should their neighbors put the,m down while they still can?
This should ne an interesting contest.

The Red Dragon bought a seat on the High Council for 33,211 gold. That is very interesting to me as it is nearly three brigades of wyverns worth. This Red Dragon king appears to be made of different stuff than most!

The Dwarf bought his seat at the considerable discount of just 16,874; barely more than the price of just raising his influence. Sweet deal. Will the Gnome bid to counter him, or is he busy raising his wizards? Will there be an HC battle between the Dwarf and Red Dragon?
No enemy declarations thus far, so peace prevails in Alamaze. Who will start the first fight?

I do find it interesting that this is the second anon game recently with no GI or WA. I get the WA they can be crushed easily or at least set back quickly. But the GI why is this guy getting avoided? I know my own reason is simply I already won with them. But I think they are one of the strongest kingdoms. Is it because they sit in the middle others are worried about being attacked? From my experience most do not seek a fight with the GI they rather spin the lottery wheel and hope the GI does not pick them.

GI was on my list. I did not get my first choice so obviously GI was not number 1 on my list but it was not last either.

I try to avoid Amberland in anonymous games as it's often turned into a highway. I never pick the WA or GI in these games.
