I just had a level 1 agent die doing a recon....wow. That is just amazing. Ever happen to any of you?

Yes, it does happen sometimes. Always a drag, but there is that small risk.

I think it's a 5% chance. I lost two on the same turn once.

Curious, has anyone ever had an Agent or Fanatic 2 die from a recon? I haven't, and I'm wondering if the chance goes from 5% to 0% for recons (and possibly only recons, with most other missions having a minimum death chance of somewhere around 3% from what I can tell).

That's just crappy that my agent died at a 5% chance. But I had 2 wizards try to go past their highest wizard level and that's 50% chance and both failed....

Have you ever played D&D or Warhammer? Or Yahtzee, for that matter? Just because certain die rolls are unlikely doesn't mean they won't happen. If you roll a d20 die, you might land a 1 or a 20. You will sometimes roll five ones in Yahtzee.

It mght be crappy, but the whole point of having a random modifier is that it might happen. Hell, it eventually WILL happen.

My original post was not to drought the RND generator but to possibly shine a light on a unintended effect. I think it did. I have had no lvl2 agent ever get caught on a recon and a number at lvl1. I know long ago recons on cities were like a 7 percent instead of 5 at lvl 1 but that was years ago.

I never recon with an L2. Either I am doing recons with an L1 or I am training them much higher.

Sometimes L2 (from your starting contingent of agents) is what's available, which is why I'd use them.

If I have an L2, I am trying to get him to L4 so he can find unusual sightings. Wink
