I'm gonna go with the UN as I scored with them last year.

I am 9th on the list of overall steel points and I won with the Nomad this year, so let's give that a try.

We debate every year on exactly what should be the criteria and how we should pick. I have taken a stab at collecting some overall Steel game points and 2018 Steel game points and looked at podium finishes in 2018 and then came up with the following list in what I think is the draft order. I know the numbers are not exact, but are pretty close. I may have missed an active player, but certainly grabbed all with decent points. And you can disagree with a placement or two, but I think this is directionally sound. I think it needs to be a mix of overall points in Steel and 2018 points in Steel and a rough look at podium finishes. You will notice a very high correlation of overall points to 2018 points anyway. As for picking kingdoms, I like how we started. The top 10 should pick any kingdom they feel they have a claim to. Points or podium finishes in a kingdom should help drive that.

I think it would be good if we hash out some rules so we can be a bit more consistent year to year.

I would propose. All finishes are for steel games only. Once a kingdom is claimed that zone/dispersed is filled. Unless they move to another kingdom.

First 24hrs. top 12 overall points that year, make picks any kingdom they took first place in that year (2018)

24hr-48hrs top 18 can claim any position they got a podium finish on.

48hr-72hrs any podium finish position can claim

After 72hr remaining kingdoms can be claimed by anyone.

If Dupont is taking UN does that leave WA open for me? I'd be happy to play DA as well.

Still hammering out rules but based on nobody has 1st except DuPont and he took UN then it makes since you can claim WA being the only 1st place WA person already took another kingdom.
