Proposed house rule - you have to quit in a pair with someone from the other team.
Personally, I don't see the issue with staying in a game no matter how bad it gets in this kind of format. You can always help your team even if you are down to 10 orders and an emergency capital! A single small unit can still run around taking villages.

If you need to quit for any reason just let your captain know. We can contact support and have the kingdom turned over or filled as a standby if in good enough shape. But as Netstrider says even moving a group around can help you team. They have to react to it.

R4, R7, or R8 but we are generous enough to let VB choose which.

This game took so long to form. In the beginning we were talking about making this pagan.
Did we still want to go that direction? I think it is a good idea as it does make it harder to gang bang up at least early on as you need to explore a bit first.

I'm fine with Pagan.
One cool thing about this new game- We are guaranteed that a Chiv player is going to get a victory here.

We are ok with Pagan and we will take regions 4 and 8, leaving this setup:
JF team: 1, 3, 6, 7, 9
VBM team: 2, 4, 5, 8, 10
I will email my team and decide who is playing what kingdoms and will email those to HH.
JF will do the same and on turn 1, I guess we will see which kingdoms are in the game.
HH will then send all choices to Support to get game set up on Thursday.

While there is no communication with opposing team or team members, there can be taunting on the forum once there is a thread for active games.
The community may even be entertained by at least the public events (region control, high council, epic battles, etc....)
